TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.      General Requirements:

·         All guests (and anyone else visiting the property) must comply with the rules of this accommodation and other instructions provided during their stay at the accommodation.

·         Guests are required to notify the front desk of any questions or complaints arising from neighbours immediately.

·         The guest assumes knowledge of the use of the property in which he will be staying is governed by Decree-Law No. 128/2014, created by the legal regime that governs Local Accommodation.

 

2.      Booking Conditions:

·         The reservation is not transferable. If the reservation details do not match the guests' details, or they are false, the reservation will be canceled without any right to refund.

·         In case of no-show, the reservation will be canceled and the total amount of the reservation will be charged, without the right to any refund. After the check-in closing time (6 PM) on the day of check-in, the reservation will be marked as a no-show.

·         Apartamentos Honório is not responsible for any damages, losses or expenses arising from the cancellation of a reservation.

·         The amount of the reservation will be detailed in the confirmation email sent to the guest, after payment of 50% of the total amount.

·         Payment of the remaining 50% must be made up to 14 days before the check-in date.

·         The actual number of guests must be informed at the time of booking, otherwise the booking will be cancelled by the property and the guest will be denied access, without refund.

·         Prices may change without prior notice, however, once the reservation is confirmed, the amount is guaranteed.

·         The minimum number of nights varies depending on the season.

·         We provide a crib upon request and subject to availability.

·         The person responsible for the reservation must be at least 25 years old and remain in the property for the entire stay. The absence of an adult over 25 years of age may result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation, without the right to a refund.

·         Each category of apartment indicates the floor on which it is located, with the exception of the standard category. In this typology, the apartments can be located on the ground floor, first or second floor, and their allocation is made according to the availability and criteria of the property, and it is not possible to guarantee a specific floor at the request of the client. For guests with reduced mobility or mobility difficulties, the request for an apartment on the ground floor, in the case of a standard category reservation, must be communicated directly to the property as far in advance as possible.

·         Pets are not allowed.
 

3.      Check-In Process:

·         Check-in: from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

·         Early check-in, subject to availability and with prior notice.

·         Check-in after 6:00 p.m. must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and the guests' identification documents communicated to the property under penalty of access being denied. Guests who check in late commit to present themselves at the reception the next day, between the time of 9:30 am and 12:30 pm to complete the check-in and receive the wristbands to access the pool.

 

4.      Identity communication

·         Identification of guests and companions must be provided prior to or at the time of check-in. The lack of this information may prevent access to the accommodation.

·         It is mandatory to present a Citizen Card or Passport.For reservations over €1,000, the NIF is also mandatory in the case of Portuguese citizens. The data will be communicated to SEF (Foreigners and Borders Service), in accordance with Article 15 of Law No. 23/2007.

 

5.      Noise and Neighbors:

·         This property is suitable for children of all ages. Guests are fully responsible for the safety of the children accompanying them throughout their stay, and for any inconvenience caused to other residents in the vicinity.

·         Guests and their visitors should keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb other residents in the area, especially during the hours when they may be sleeping (11:00 pm to 9:00 am), and when arriving and leaving the property.

·         Excessive noise is prohibited in any case and at any time, and may lead to the termination of the guest's stay, eviction, loss of the amount paid for the entire stay and the deposit.

·         In case of guest complaints or the need for police intervention, Apartamentos Honório may cancel the stay immediately, without the right to a refund.

·         Guests and their visitors are strictly prohibited from behaving in a disrespectful manner towards the residents and staff of the accommodation, and should minimize their impact on them and the area in general.

 

6.      Visits:

· Guests may not exceed the number of people previously defined in the reservation. Only the people indicated in the reservation will be entitled to enter and use the apartment and the pool. Any visits to the apartment must be requested and approved by the owner/manager.

· All visits must comply with the rules set out in this document, and guests are responsible for the behavior of their guests.

· Overnight stays are not permitted for people who are not on the reservation.

 

7.      Use of Property:

· Any party or gathering people that exceed the total capacity of the apartment is totally prohibited.

· Small gatherings must take into account the rules of noise, neighbourhood and visits.

 

8.      Parking:

· Guests and their visitors must respect the regulations and requirements that affect the car park and take into consideration other guests, neighbours and their vehicles.

· The guest must inform the accommodation about the registration of their vehicle.

 

9.      Garbage and Recycling:

· Guests and their guests must handle waste and recycling according to the rules of the accommodation, and must not leave any waste in common areas or on public roads.

· The location of the garbage and recycling of the accommodation is on the opposite side of the reception and if you need it, please ask the reception for the location of the same.

 

10.  Safety:

· Whenever guests leave the property, it is your responsibility to make sure that the windows and doors are securely closed to maintain safety and prevent rain damage.

· Guests are required to turn off lights, air conditioners, and electronics when not needed to save energy. Guests are not allowed to leave air conditioning on when they are not in the accommodation.

·         Apartamentos Honório reserves the right to deny or cancel the stay, evicting guests without the right to any refund if they jeopardize the proper functioning and safety of the property, its employees and guests through behavior or conduct that violates this regulation.

 

11.  Swimming pool:

·         Unguarded swimming pool.

·         The pool can only be used between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm in April and October and between 9:30 am and 7:00 pm in the months of May, June, July, August and September, every day of the week.

·         The guest has the obligation to check all the rules of the pool that are fixed to the door of the same. If you have any questions, please contact reception.

·         Apartamentos Honório is not responsible for failures or interruptions in public services as well as for any situations of force majeure that are beyond its control or responsibility.

·         In case of adverse weather conditions or whenever those responsible consider that the safety conditions or the normal functioning of the facilities are compromised, Apartamentos Honório reserves the right to close the pool, without prior notice.

·         For the purposes of security of people and property, this establishment is subject to a video surveillance system (CCTV), with capture and recording of images, in accordance with the legislation in force on the protection of personal data.

·         The property is not responsible for any forgetfulness, disappearance, theft or theft of objects in the pool area. Lost objects found by the staff will be kept by the pool manager for a maximum period of 24 hours, after which, if they are not claimed, they will be discarded.

·         The property is a family space. The practice of nudity or any behavior considered inappropriate may determine the immediate expulsion of the customer, as well as the prohibition of their future access to the facilities.

·         The display of symbols, objects or messages of a political, religious or ideological nature that are offensive, insulting or that may disturb the family environment and respect between users is not allowed.

·         Apartamentos Honório reserves the right to refuse or withdraw access to the pool to any person whose behavior causes discomfort, disturbs coexistence or compromises the safety of customers or employees. The property has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of discrimination, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, harassment or any offensive or threatening behaviour towards other customers or employees.

·         After the opening hours of the pool, even if any entrance is eventually open or unlocked, its use is expressly prohibited, under penalty of future access to the facilities being denied.

·         Sun loungers are for individual use, with mandatory use of towels. They should be used exclusively for resting, in a sitting or lying position.

·         It is not allowed to use towels from the apartments in the pool area.

·         It is not allowed to reserve seats with towels or belongings. These will be removed after an absence equal to or greater than 30 minutes.

·         In the event of damage (sun loungers, beds, mattresses, separation grilles, glass, bathrooms or other equipment), as well as in situations that compromise the quality of the pool water (including waste or fluids), the person responsible for the damage must immediately report it to the person in charge of the pool. The costs of cleaning, repair or replacement will be fully borne by the person causing the damage.

·         Sound aids must be used exclusively with headphones, for individual use. The use of portable speakers, Bluetooth devices or any other equipment that reproduces sound audible by other customers is not allowed.

·         The use of the pool area for food consumption is not allowed. The consumption of drinks is limited to those purchased at the bar of the Honório Apartments, and the use of any glass objects is also prohibited.

·         Adult supervision is mandatory until the age of 16.

·         It is mandatory for babies to use diapers suitable for water.

·         It is not allowed to change the arrangement of the furniture in the pool area.

·         Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the pool enclosure.

·         It is forbidden to run in the area surrounding the pool, dive, practice water sports or use inflatable accessories, balls or any objects likely to disturb the safety and normal functioning of the facilities.

·         Pets are not allowed in the pool area.

·         The use of drones or any aerial devices is not allowed in the pool area or surrounding areas, except when expressly authorized by the management.

·         A first aid box is available at the pool door.

 

12.  Animals:

· Pets are not allowed in this accommodation.

 

13.  Damage and Disrespect:

· Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately to the owner/manager. Any damage to furniture, equipment or facilities will have a minimum cost of €450, plus the remaining cost of any repairs/replacements.

· In order to avoid damage, it is forbidden to move furniture from one room to another without the prior consent of the owner/manager.

· Towels placed in the bathroom or sheets/blankets/pillows placed in the bedrooms and living room, as well as any other item in the apartment, cannot be taken from the bathroom, including to the pool or the beach.

·         The guest must allow access to the Honório Apartments team for inspections or repairs necessary during the stay.

·         Apartamentos Honório has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to discrimination, harassment or risk to other guests and staff.

·         The guest and their companions are responsible for any damage caused to the property or common areas. Apartamentos Honório grants itself the right to charge the credit card used for the reservation or any other that the customer provides in order to charge amounts resulting from any movable or immovable damage to the property.

·         Fees applied for lost or damaged items:
• Bath towel: 15€• Face towel: 10€• Bath mat: 7€• Sheet set: 40€• Pillowcase: 7€• Duvet: 50€• Keys: 60€

 

14.  Cleaning:

· For stays of 6 nights or more, a change of sheets and towels is offered. Stays of less than 6 nights, no change of sheets and towels will be offered.

· Additional cleanings are subject to an extra charge of €50 per cleaning and are subject to availability.

· The guest is not allowed to ask the cleaning staff for towels or sheets. All requests must be made at the reception. Failure to comply with this rule implies that an additional amount of €50 will be charged.

 

15.  Smoking:

· Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation and in the pool. Guests are kindly requested to inquire at reception about the designated smoking areas. In the event of non-compliance with this rule, the deposit will be withdrawn.

· Cigarette butts should be placed in the ashtrays provided and not on the floor. In the event of non-compliance with this rule, the deposit will be withdrawn.

· Under Law No. 63/2017, smoking of any tobacco products and/or tobacco products is not allowed in the apartments. In the event of non-compliance, Apartamentos Honório reserves the right to charge between €50 and €500 in accordance with Decree-Law 37/2007.

 

16.  Check-Out Process:

· Check-out: until 11:00 am.

·         When checking out, make sure you have removed all your belongings and trash from the apartment.

· If the guest's check-out is made before 9 am, all instructions for the guest are posted on the reception door.

· Your luggage can be stored at the reception until 17:00.

· Check-out after 11:00 am is subject to availability and with mandatory 24-hour notice, with an additional cost of €25 for each hour exceeded, after 11:00 am, with a maximum limit of up to 2 hours.

·         If no incident is reported by the day of check-out, it will be understood that the contracted service has been received satisfactorily. Any dissatisfaction should be communicated as soon as possible, so that the hotel can take steps to resolve it.

 

17.  Emergency Information:

 · In case of emergency, the contact number to call is: 112.

 

18.  Compliance with the Rules:

· Failure to comply with any of these rules implies the violation of the conditions defined in the rental agreement with this accommodation and the loss of the deposit.

· The owner/manager has the right to terminate the guest's period of stay if they do not comply with the rules of this house or cause nuisance to neighbors and other residents of the community.

· Apartamentos Honório reserves the right not to rent accommodation to guests who have previously had behaviors or conducts considered by themselves as inappropriate or that they understand to have been made with the intention of obtaining some type of compensation, presenting complaints considered by Apartamentos Honório as unjustified.

 

19.  Security deposit

· In addition to the total amount to be paid by guests for their stays, they will have to deposit a security deposit at the time of their entry/check-in at the accommodation in order to cover possible damages caused by them. · Any complaint, of any kind, can only be accepted on the day of check-in. The customer must inspect the apartment on arrival and immediately report any defects found to the hotel reception.

·         The inspection of the property will be carried out by Apartamentos Honório after the guest's departure, with or without the guest's presence, at the time when Apartamentos Honório has availability. The guest will be held responsible for any damages verified during this evaluation, including those caused by companions or guests.

· Apartamentos Honório reserves the right to debit from the deposit all the amounts it deems necessary to support the costs of repair and/or replacement of damaged or missing objects by guests, and the same faithful are responsible for the proper use of the accommodation and the items at their disposal.

· When it is found that the monetary amounts necessary to carry out repairs to the accommodation, repair and replacement of damaged items or replacement of omitted objects as a result of misuse by guests during their stay, are higher than the security deposit amounts, Apartamentos Honório reserves the right, after notifying guests, to budget and/or invoice them for the respective costs incurred or that it understands will occur to carry out repairs to the accommodation. accommodation, repair and replacement of damaged items or replacement of omitted objects.

· Apartamentos Honório is not responsible for any loss or forgetfulness of objects in the apartments or in the surrounding areas, as well as is not responsible for contacting guests in case of objects found. In case of perishable goods, they will be disposed of by the cleaning team. Objects of more significant value will be under the custody of the reception for a maximum of 30 days after check-out, after which they will be donated to charity.

·         Apartamentos Honório is not responsible for failures of public services (water, electricity, internet) or for reasons of force majeure that are beyond our control or responsibility.

 

After payment and confirmation of receipt of the deposit or all the amounts relating to the reservations, the conditions of the same are automatically considered accepted by the guests.
